Faculty Member from the College of Islamic Sciences Highlights the Qualities of the Prophet in the Qur’an on Al-Maaref TV Channel

Dr. Mawahib Al-Khatib, a faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, presented a special episode on Al-Maaref TV Channel titled “How Does the Qur’an Describe the Messenger of Allah?” on the occasion of the anniversary of the passing of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The episode shed light on the manifestations of the Prophet’s mercy as described in the Qur’an, showcasing several verses that highlight his noble character and attributes, such as:
“And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds” (21:107), and “And indeed, you are of a great moral character” (68:4).

Dr. Al-Khatib also discussed the spiritual and practical dimensions of mercy, noting that the Prophet’s (PBUH) teaching of what benefits people in this life and the Hereafter is among the greatest forms of divine mercy. She further referred to Qur’anic indications about the impact of worship and prayer in the Barzakh and the Hereafter.

The episode, framed in an educational and spiritual context, emphasized that the Qur’an presents a complete image of the Prophet (PBUH) as a source of light, mercy, and guidance for all of humanity.
