Faculty Member from the College of Islamic Sciences Participates in Academic Discussion at the University of Baghdad

Assistant Professor Dr. Sarmad Adel Sahib, a faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, took part in the defense of a Master’s thesis at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Baghdad.

The thesis, submitted by student Israa Ahmed Abdul-Hussein, was entitled: “Morphological Research of Al-Shirbini (d. 977 AH) in His Book Fath Al-Khaliq Al-Malik fi Hall Alfaz Alfiyyat Ibn Malik.” The study explored the morphological aspects in Al-Shirbini’s works and highlighted his contributions in explaining the Alfiyyah of Ibn Malik within the broader context of Arabic linguistic heritage.

Dr. Sarmad Adel’s participation reflects the ongoing academic collaboration among Iraqi universities and strengthens the spirit of academic integration between educational institutions. It also marks a valuable addition to the efforts of the College of Islamic Sciences in supporting scientific research and fostering the exchange of scholarly expertise.
