Mohammed Muslim Baqir, a PhD student at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, took part in the al-Saqqā’ Qur’anic Competition organized by the Qur’an Institute / al-Hindiya branch, affiliated with the Scientific Qur’anic Complex of the al-Abbas Holy Shrine. The event was held as part of the summer Qur’anic courses project in al-Hindiya district.
The competition, which saw the participation of 18 students from various areas and villages of the district, included multiple sections such as Qur’an memorization, recitation, and answering jurisprudential and doctrinal questions, all within an atmosphere of meaningful Qur’anic rivalry.
It is noteworthy that Mohammed Muslim Baqir’s participation is part of a broader series of scholarly and Qur’anic activities in which graduate students of the College of Islamic Sciences are keen to engage, thereby strengthening their academic and religious presence in the community.
