
Prof. Dr. Haider Shalal Mutib, a faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, participated in a workshop organized by the Continuing Education Center in cooperation with the Department of Media and Government Communication at Al-Zahra (pbuh) University for Women. The event, held under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, was titled:
“Media Marketing Skills in the Digital Age for Educational Institutions.”
The workshop addressed several important topics in the field of digital media, most notably modern media marketing strategies, and effective ways to leverage digital platforms to strengthen the presence of educational institutions and convey their messages accurately and impactfully to target audiences.
It also focused on developing participants’ skills in producing professional media content that aligns with the dynamics of the digital age and enhances the quality of communication outputs from academic institutions.
Additionally, the workshop discussed the most widely used tools and techniques in digital marketing and how they can be applied innovatively to support communication strategies, while highlighting the vital role of digital media in promoting educational and research activities in academia.
This participation reflects the College of Islamic Sciences’ commitment to supporting its faculty members’ engagement in scientific and media-related events that enhance academic skills and digital communication, thereby positively impacting the quality of education and community service.
