
As part of efforts to strengthen academic and institutional cooperation between universities and educational institutions, a delegation from the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala visited a number of vocational schools affiliated with the General Directorate of Education in Karbala / Vocational Education Department. The visit aimed to promote the evening study program in the Department of Arabic Language, which the college plans to launch this year.
The visiting delegation included:
- Prof. Dr. Haider Shalal Mutib – Director of the Media and Government Communication Division at the college,
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Sarmad Abdul Sahib – Faculty member,
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Abdul Nabi – Faculty member.
The delegation met with several vocational school principals to discuss ways of joint cooperation, especially in supporting vocational graduates and encouraging them to continue their education through evening programs. Both sides also explored avenues of academic collaboration and coordination in areas of mutual interest, while reviewing the current state of vocational education and establishing direct channels of communication with students and educators.
This visit reflects the College of Islamic Sciences’ commitment to strengthening engagement with the educational community and opening higher education opportunities for vocational track graduates, thereby contributing positively to the advancement of education in Karbala Province.
