Joint Scientific Cooperation Between the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala and Al-Ameed Scientific and Intellectual Association to Promote Academic Research

“Academic Cooperation Between the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, and Al-Ameed Association”

Within the framework of enhancing scientific cooperation and expanding academic partnerships, a delegation from the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, headed by Professor Dr. Mohammed Hussein Abboud Al-Ta’i, Dean of the College, paid an official visit to Al-Ameed Scientific and Intellectual Association and the Al-Ameed International Center for Research and Studies, affiliated with the Holy Abbasid Shrine.

The delegation included Professor Dr. Hazem Fadel, Head of the Arabic Language Department; Professor Dr. Saeed Hameed, Director of the Contemporary Islamic Studies Journal at the college; Professor Dr. Haider Shlal Muteb, Director of the Media and Government Communication Division; and Assistant Professor Dr. Ad Kamel, faculty member at the college.

The visit aimed to explore avenues of mutual cooperation, especially in organizing scientific conferences, seminars, and specialized workshops to support academic activity and exchange experiences between the two institutions.

The association’s administration warmly received the visiting delegation, during which an extensive meeting was held discussing the possibility of coordinating joint scientific programs to enhance the quality of education and academic research.

Professor Dr. Mohammed Hussein Abboud Al-Ta’i emphasized during the meeting the importance of such scientific partnerships in supporting the college’s vision of academic openness and strengthening collaboration with active community institutions, serving the scientific and educational journey while keeping pace with developments in Quranic, intellectual, linguistic, and humanitarian research fields
