Professor Wafaa Abbas Fayadh, Head of the Subcommittee for Academic Promotions and former chair of its assigned committee, delivered the first-day lecture of the training course titled:
“Academic Promotions: Regulations, Procedures, and Updates,” held as part of the continuous education programs.

The course continues for three days in the Imam al-Hussein (peace be upon him) Hall, with the participation of a number of faculty members and those interested in the academic promotions file.

The course aims to provide specialization in the topic of academic promotions and the updates related to it, clarifying the requirements and procedures of the promotion process in both its paper and electronic versions. It also explains the regulations, instructions, and conditions specified in this field, in addition to outlining the steps of application and work mechanisms, particularly those related to the electronic system and online submission.

The first day witnessed notable interaction from the participants, who raised several questions related to academic promotions and their mechanisms.
