The Department of Fiqh and Usul at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, organized a distinguished academic competition with the participation of third- and fourth-year students. The competition aimed to enhance academic competitiveness and develop students’ research and analytical skills in the fields of Islamic jurisprudence and its principles.
The judging panel consisted of a select group of the department’s faculty members:

- Dr. Basim Jabbar
- Asst. Lecturer Zahraa Mohammed
The competition featured advanced questions in Fiqh and Usul, along with scholarly discussions that encouraged students to demonstrate their academic abilities and the knowledge they have gained throughout their studies.
At the end of the event, the judging committee praised the students’ performance and engagement, emphasizing the importance of continuing such programs that support the academic journey and contribute to preparing competent researchers in the field of Islamic studies.
