Under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Fiqh and Usul at the College of Islamic Sciences, Asst. Prof. Dr. Asmaa Qasim, the department’s reception committee organized a welcoming ceremony for first-year students for the academic year 2025–2026.

The event was attended by the department’s rapporteur and a number of first-year instructors. The program included welcoming speeches that greeted the new students and highlighted the importance of the first university stage in building their academic and professional foundations in the field of Fiqh and Usul.

The organizers praised the students’ enthusiasm and interaction, affirming that such activities enhance the spirit of belonging and integration within the academic environment of the college.
