
The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Babylon, aimed at strengthening academic and research cooperation and elevating the scientific level of both colleges.
The signing took place in the presence of:
- Prof. Hazem Fadel Al-Barz, Head of the Arabic Language Department
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Sarmad Adel Sahib Harbi, Graduate Studies Rapporteur
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Aad Kamil Saber Al-Obaidi, faculty member in the department
Alongside the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Babylon, Prof. Dr. Hassan Obaid Al-Maamouri, his administrative and scientific assistants, and the Head of the Qur’anic Language Department.
The memorandum includes cooperation in developing academic plans and unifying curricula for corresponding specializations, exchanging scientific resources, and holding training workshops to develop teaching skills. It also stipulates strengthening joint scientific research, conducting specialized studies, publishing in international journals, and exchanging expertise, laboratories, and scientific materials.
Additionally, the memorandum covers cooperation in holding joint courses, seminars, and student activities, organizing scientific and cultural visits, and arranging training workshops that serve administrative and academic needs.
