Students of the College of Islamic Sciences Participate in the Weekly “Arsh al-Tilawah” Qur’anic Gathering

Students Abbas Fadhil and Thamer Al-Fartousi from the College of Islamic Sciences participated in the activities of the weekly Arsh al-Tilawah Qur’anic gathering, organized by the Scientific Complex of the Holy Qur’an at the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, represented by the Qur’anic Projects Center. The gathering hosted a delegation from the Iraqi Nurses Syndicate in Nineveh Governorate and was held in the purified Abbasid Courtyard, in a spiritually uplifting atmosphere rich with Qur’anic presence.

The gathering was attended by the Head of the Scientific Complex of the Holy Qur’an, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Al-Ali. It commenced with a blessed recitation by the reciter Mohammed Al-Rukabi, one of the reciters of the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, followed by a fragrant recitation by the reciter Sayyid Ghadeer Al-A’araji in the authentic Iraqi style, then a recitation by the reciter Ammar Al-Hilli. The event concluded with a collective recitation presented by the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine ensemble.

The gathering also witnessed the attendance of the delegation from the Iraqi Nurses Syndicate in Nineveh, in addition to honoring a number of security forces personnel participating in the daily melodious Qur’anic khatma held by the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, in appreciation of their efforts and active participation.

This participation reflects the College of Islamic Sciences’ commitment to strengthening students’ engagement in Qur’anic activities, supporting the Qur’anic movement, and consolidating values of academic and cultural communication with various institutions and professional syndicates.
