Assistant Professor Dr. Mawahib Saleh Mahdi, a faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, participated in the closing ceremony of the International Arbaeen Art Award, which was organized by the Holy Shrines in cooperation with the Cultural Attaché of the Iranian Consulate, under the patronage of the Supreme Religious Authority and the Governor of Holy Karbala, with the participation of a number of cultural institutions supporting the annual international competition.

The ceremony was held at the Cultural Attaché building of the Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karbala, coinciding with the commemoration of the anniversary of the passing of Lady Zainab (peace be upon her) and the remembrance of the leaders of victory, in a cultural and spiritual atmosphere that embodied the human and artistic values associated with the Arbaeen pilgrimage.

The event was attended by religious seminary and academic figures, as well as representatives of cultural institutions, students of religious sciences, and families of martyrs. The participation highlighted the importance of the academic and cultural role in supporting purposeful artistic activities and strengthening the cultural and message-oriented dimension of major religious occasions.
