Faculty Member from the College of Islamic Sciences Participates in a PhD Dissertation Defense Committee at the University of Babylon

Assistant Professor Dr. Mawahib Al-Khatib, a faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, participated as a member of the defense committee for a PhD dissertation at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Babylon, Department of Qur’anic Sciences.

The dissertation, entitled “The Dialectic of Religion and Authority in the Societies of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in the Light of the Holy Qur’an”, was submitted by the researcher Sumaya Ibrahim Kazem. It addressed an important intellectual topic that examines the relationship between religion and authority within the societies of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), based on a Qur’anic perspective and rigorous academic analysis.

This participation comes within the framework of joint scientific cooperation among Iraqi universities and reflects the active role of academic staff in supervision, discussion, and scholarly evaluation.

This achievement is added to the record of distinguished academic contributions of Assistant Professor Dr. Mawahib Al-Khatib and her effective efforts in supporting scientific research and advancing the academic level of Iraqi universities.
