
Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Professor Dr. Mohammed Hussein Al-Ta’i, the Qualification and Employment Unit at the college organized a training course entitled “Sustainable Green Education: Practical Strategies in Educational Institutions,” with the participation of a distinguished group of faculty members and students.
The lectures were delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ali Jaafar Hassan, Assistant Lecturer Sajjad Majid Amin, and Ms. Ruqayya Miqdam Mohammed. The sessions addressed the concept of green education and its importance in achieving sustainability within educational institutions.
The course highlighted the importance of integrating environmental concepts into academic curricula, promoting sustainable behaviors among students, and contributing to the reduction of operational costs through the adoption of environmentally friendly practices. These efforts aim to build an environmentally conscious generation capable of facing future challenges.
The course activities continued for three days and witnessed notable engagement and active participation from students of the College of Islamic Sciences, who showed great interest in its practical themes and their impact on developing the educational environment.
