
In accordance with the directives of the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, and with the support and guidance of the Head of the Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education to activate PhD student seminars, doctoral candidate Ali Mohammed Abdul-Hussein presented an academic seminar titled:
“The Islamic Feminist Movement: A Critical Study of Understanding the Qur’anic Text”
under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Mawahib Saleh Mahdi, in the postgraduate hall, with the attendance of a group of PhD students.
The seminar witnessed active participation and engagement from the postgraduate audience.
This academic activity comes as part of the department’s commitment to stimulating research activity and enhancing the skills of postgraduate students in presenting and discussing their research projects within an academically supportive environment that encourages inquiry and critical analysis.
