The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala has published its new book titled “The Martyred Sayyid H. N. (may God have mercy on him)… Written by Academics: A Reading in Giving and Martyrdom,” as the first academic publication at the Arab level to address the life and journey of the martyred leader of the resistance through a specialized scientific research perspective.
The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Muhammad Hussein Aboud Al-Ta’i, stated that this book is the first of its kind issued by a university institution in Arab universities. It is dedicated to studying the personality of Hassan Nasrallah from various intellectual, political, and social aspects, based on rigorous scientific methodologies presented by researchers and academics from inside and outside Iraq.
He added that this publication includes scientific papers delivered during the first annual conference held by the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala in honor of the leader of the resistance. The research papers addressed the concepts of giving and martyrdom, the dimensions of leadership in the martyr’s thought, and his role in consolidating the culture of resistance within Arab and Islamic consciousness.
This work comes within the college’s efforts to strengthen the university’s role in studying contemporary issues and analyzing influential figures within objective academic contexts. The college noted that the book constitutes a qualitative addition to the Arab research library and a scholarly reference for researchers and interested readers.
