As part of the activities of the Career Development and Employment Unit, the unit, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, held a workshop titled “Common Mistakes in Writing Scientific Research.” The session was presented by Assistant Lecturers Ansam Adel and Ali Jaafar.

The workshop aimed to highlight the common mistakes researchers encounter while preparing scientific research, emphasizing the importance of producing error-free, accurate, and objective academic work. It stressed that such mistakes could significantly impact the quality and outcomes of the research.

The workshop concluded with a set of recommendations to minimize these errors, including repeatedly reviewing the text to ensure it is free of spelling or grammatical mistakes, and engaging in continuous training through workshops and courses to enhance researchers’ academic skills.
