The College of Islamic Sciences Achieves Third Place in the National Qur’anic Interpretation Competition

The College of Islamic Sciences has achieved a remarkable accomplishment by securing third place in the competition for memorizing and interpreting the entire Qur’an. This was part of the National Qur’anic Interpretation Competition for university students. Representing the college in the competition was the student Muhammad Takleef from the Department of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education, who received a certificate of participation in recognition of his efforts and excellence.

The competition was organized by the Quran Institute affiliated with the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine in collaboration with the University of Kufa. It was held in the Nursing College hall at the University of Kufa from January 16 to 19, 2025, with the participation of students from 20 public and private universities across Iraq.
