The College of Islamic Sciences Holds the 15th Edition of the “Riyada” Initiative to Foster Innovation Among Students

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hussein Aboud Al-Taie, the 15th edition of the Riyada Initiative, in its second season, was launched at the College of Islamic Sciences.

The training course, conducted by certified trainer Lecturer Imad Abdul Redha Hamid, witnessed wide participation from students across various colleges and disciplines. The initiative aims to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students and empower them to transform their creative ideas into practical projects that benefit society.

The Dean of the College emphasized the importance of such initiatives in supporting young talents and guiding them towards creativity and excellence. He reaffirmed the college’s commitment to providing a stimulating environment that fosters skill development and enhances both academic and practical competencies among students.

This initiative aligns with the vision of the University of Karbala in supporting Iraqi youth and strengthening its role as a pioneering academic institution dedicated to preparing qualified professionals who contribute to societal development.

It is worth mentioning that the Riyada Initiative, launched by the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, is a national program designed to empower youth and job seekers by providing them with the necessary training and qualifications to enter the labor market with high efficiency.
