
The Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Mohammed Hussein Aboud Al-Taie, accompanied by the College’s Administrative Assistant, Dr. Sadiq Abbas Rahi, participated in the opening ceremony of the Second Public Festival commemorating the Fatwa of Defending the Homeland. The event took place in a solemn atmosphere and was attended by a wide array of officials and members of the public.
This festival aims to honor the historic fatwa issued by the Supreme Religious Authority, which called on Iraqis to defend their country and sacred sites. The fatwa marked a pivotal moment in Iraq’s modern history, symbolizing sacrifice, national unity, and steadfastness in the face of challenges.
