Abbas Fadhil, a student from the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, took part in the commemoration of the first ten days of Muharram at the sacred courtyard of Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him). The gatherings witnessed a large attendance of faithful worshippers and visitors.

His participation came as part of the religious and cultural programs organized by the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine during these blessed days. The student delivered several cultural contributions and elegies that reflected the values of the Husayni message and highlighted themes of sacrifice and devotion embodied by Imam Husayn (peace be upon him), his family, and his companions during the tragic events of Karbala.

This involvement aligns with the College’s ongoing encouragement of its students to engage in religious and cultural activities, strengthening their connection to Islamic traditions, particularly those that honor the legacy of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and the principles of the Husayni uprising.
