In a scholarly and humanitarian gesture reflecting loyalty and deep appreciation for academic figures, Dr. Wafaa Abbas Fayadh—faculty member and Head of the Academic Promotions Unit at the College of Islamic Sciences—paid a visit to the esteemed scholar, Dr. Fadhil Saleh Al-Samarrai, one of the leading authorities in Arabic language and grammar, at his residence in Baghdad.
This honorable visit was made as part of a tradition of respect and academic duty, honoring the relationship between students and their teachers. Dr. Wafaa was accompanied by Dr. Ali Raheem Al-Hilu, President of the Association of Educational Academics in Iraq, and Dr. Hassan Abdul Ghani Al-Asadi, faculty member at the University of Karbala.
The fruitful meeting included a rich remembrance of influential academic contributions and moments, along with meaningful Quranic discussions infused with the profound linguistic and rhetorical depth that characterizes Dr. Al-Samarrai’s scholarship. The visit carried both a noble academic and humanistic spirit.
