Academics from the College of Islamic Sciences Congratulate the Academic Union in Karbala on the Successful General Conference Elections for the Third Term

A delegation from the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala visited the headquarters of the Academic Union – Karbala Branch, to extend congratulations to Professor Dr. Muneer Abdul-Ali Al-Daami on the successful conclusion of the General Conference elections for the third term, and on his renewed appointment as the Union’s president in the province.

During the visit, the academic delegation expressed their appreciation for the Union’s active role in supporting scientific and academic competencies, emphasizing that the success of the elections represents an important step toward strengthening the independence of union work and developing the academic environment.

The two sides also discussed prospects for joint cooperation between the College and the Union, particularly in developing academic and scientific activities, enhancing faculty members’ skills, and empowering university professors to fulfill their societal and educational roles in promoting scientific and national values.

This visit comes as part of the College of Islamic Sciences’ commitment to strengthening institutional partnerships with unions and academic organizations, contributing to the advancement of the educational and scientific landscape in Iraq.
