The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala holds its third joint international scientific conference with the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Warith Al-Anbiya.
Under the patronage of the Hussainiya Holy Shrine and the Presidency of the University of Karbala, the two faculties of Islamic Sciences – University of Karbala and Islamic Sciences and the University of inheritance of the Prophets held the third annual international scientific conference tagged with “The Impact of Islamic Discourse on Building the Value System” under the slogan “Islam is Life” at ten o’clock on Saturday 12/2021. 25 And on the hall of the master of the guardians.
The conference aimed to renounce the discourse of extremism and fanaticism and seek to spread the principles of tolerance and rapprochement in order to consolidate the value and moral principles recommended by the noble Islamic Sharia and because of their good impact on building a righteous society that thrives with its Islamic heritage and culture, especially the consolidation of the principle of Islamic discourse stemming from the core of Islam and its teachings. Researchers from Iraqi, Arab and foreign universities participated in the conference. About 81 papers were discussed in the conference related to the conference’s themes, which included eight axes, which are the axis of doctrinal and intellectual studies, Qur’anic and interpretive studies, jurisprudence and fundamentalism studies, narrative and historical studies, studies of civilization and religions, as well as linguistic, literary, educational and psychological studies in addition to studies Informative
The topics were distributed according to eight research sessions held at the Sayed Al-Shuhada Complex at the same time
The conference included reciting verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the reciter of the Hussainiya shrine, Salah Al-Sharikhani, and standing to read Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs, the great references, the departed religious scholars and the national anthem. Dr. Muhammad Al-Tarihi followed this by the speech of the Presidency of the Preparatory Committee for the Conference delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Talal Faeq Al-Kamali, as well as a documentary film embodying the University of Karbala and the University of Warith Al-Anbiya, in addition to the Islamic Muwashahat. The Islamic discourse in building a value personality was delivered by Prof. Dr. Hamza Mortada from Lebanon, and medals were distributed to the participants in the conference
The conference concluded its work with the recommendations made by the Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Conference, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Husayn Aboud Al-Tai, the most prominent of which are:-
Spreading a culture of tolerance and undermining forms of violence and hatred
Directing visions and concepts by adopting a moderate, unified Islamic discourse on the approach of the Noble Qur’an and the honorable Sunnah of the Prophet
The call for rapprochement between religions and sects by including everyone under the umbrella of unity and peaceful coexistence.
