The College of Islamic Sciences holds a workshop entitled “Atheism is a problem of thought”

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Bassem Khalil Al-Saidi, and under the supervision of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Najm Abdul-Hussein Negm, and with the participation and cooperation of the Center for Continuing Education – the Presidency of the University, the College of Islamic Sciences held a workshop entitled (Atheism is a problem of thought) at eleven o’clock on Tuesday morning, and on the hall of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in the college…

The workshop included two axes. The first intellectual axis came under the title Causes of Intellectual Atheism, in which the teaching assistant in the Department of Arabic Language, Assistant Professor Dr. Jassim Abdel Wahed, referred to the meaning of atheism, its causes, and the psychological, moral and intellectual problems that the world suffers from, and a statement of the promotion of the idea of ​​atheism through Internet sites.

As for the second legal axis, which came under the title Atheism, a legitimate treatment, in which the Associate Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hussein Abboud, touched on the causes and treatments for the phenomenon of atheism… by standing on the social, doctrinal and psychological reasons for that phenomenon, then diving into the Islamic treatments represented by Quranic verses. And the rational proofs that prove the existence of God Almighty and destroy what the intellectual system adopted for atheism. The workshop was enriched with interventions and discussions by the attendees.
