On Thursday, corresponding to 12/8/2022, the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala commemorated the martyrdom of the great friend, Mrs. Fatima Al-Zahra, peace be upon her.

The religious forum began with the recitation of a verse from the Holy Quran, then a speech by the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Dergham Al-Musawi, in which he spoke about the fragrant biography of Lady Al-Zahra, may God’s prayers and peace be upon her, and her life and her grievances throughout the years of her honorable life, and after that came the speech of the teacher in the Department of Quranic Studies, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Ashtar. In it, we refer to her role in spreading the teachings of the Islamic religion and her dignity and status with God Almighty, and she is the one the most honorable Prophet talked about when he said, “Fatima is a part of me, whoever hurts her hurts me.” The Messenger of God believed.

Poems of lamentation for Al-Zahra, peace be upon her, were recited by students of the third stage of the evening study.
This council is part of the college’s programs that aim to revive the memory of the Ahl al-Bayt “peace be upon them” and to demonstrate the role of the infallible in building a conscious Islamic society.
