The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala witnessed the honoring of Fatimid female students who wore the Islamic veil.
This honor aims to consolidate, root and disseminate the culture of hijab in the university community, and work to perpetuate it in the hearts and minds of university students, in addition to preserving the hijab and chastity for the continuity of society and preserving it from decay and deviation.
The President of the University of Karbala, Professor Basem Khalil Al-Saidi, while honoring the veiled female students, indicated that adherence to the Islamic veil is one of the things that Islam called for, with the need for women to take the pure friend Fatima Al-Zahra as a role model for them in their lives, and to have her morals and characteristics is very important.
The Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Professor Dr. Dergham Karim Al-Musawi, stated that the veil is a wise law that guarantees the happiness of women, the integrity of the family, and the purity of society, in addition to that it is a religious matter and a legal ruling that was decided by God Almighty and mentioned by the Holy Qur’an, and confirmed by the Prophet and his family, may God’s prayers be upon them all.
