The College of Islamic Sciences is participating in a team-based Quranic competition at Maysan University

The College of Islamic Sciences, representing the University of Karbala, participated along with the College of Engineering in the intercollegiate Quranic competition organized by the College of Education at the University of Maysan in collaboration with the Quranic Sciences Unit in the college. The team from the College of Islamic Sciences achieved third place out of 12 universities.

Professor Dr. Hamid Jasim Aboud Al-Gharabi, the head of the Quranic Sciences Unit, stated that the objective of organizing the competition is to identify promising Quranic talents in all Quranic fields such as recitation, interpretation, and working on their development. Additionally, the competition aims to activate Quranic activities in Iraqi universities and instill a spirit of competition, sacrifice, and creativity.
