The Master’s thesis titled “Reinforcement and Inhibition in the Noble Qur’an: Presentation and Analysis” by student Hakim Khudair Ne’ma was discussed at the College of Islamic Sciences, Karbala University. The defense took place in the Imam Hussein (AS) Hall within the college.

The researcher prepared his thesis using the methodology of presentation and analysis of Quranic verses related to specific topics. This was done by presenting the Quranic text as the subject of research, explaining its meaning through the choice of appropriate interpretation for the research topic or through narration in some cases, and then identifying the aspects of reinforcement or inhibition within the text. The study did not cover all instances of reinforcement and inhibition mentioned in the Noble Qur’an but focused on specific themes.

In addition to relying on the Noble Quran, the researcher also drew upon numerous sources and references in the fields of creed, hadith, interpretation, jurisprudence, ethics, language, psychology, and sociology.

The thesis defense committee consisted of the following members:

  1. Assistant Professor Dr. Ammar Mohammed Hussein from Karbala University, College of Islamic Sciences, as the Chairman.
  2. Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Mohammed Ali Shafiq from the University of Baghdad, Ibn Rushd College of Education, as a member.
