A master's thesis defense took place at the College of Islamic Sciences on Quranic interpretation according to the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH)

At the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, the defense of the master’s thesis titled ‘Quranic Interpretation According to the Ahl al-Bayt (Peace be upon them): Linguistic Differences as a Model’ took place. The student presenting the thesis is Mona Hassan Abdul-Ridha. The defense was held in the Imam Hussein (AS) Hall at the college.

The thesis discussed the integral relationship between legal considerations and formative realities in Imami jurisprudence. The significance of language in understanding the Quran was emphasized, given its status as the miraculous book of Allah, the eternal message, the everlasting sign, and the perpetual constitution of Muslims. As the Quran was revealed in the Arabic language, it was essential for those interpreting it to rely on Arabic and understand its methods of expression, delving into its linguistic characteristics.
