The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala held the First Annual Conference in honor of Martyr Sayyed N.S.R. Allah

Under the slogan “The Immortality of Martyrdom and the Dignity of a Nation,” and titled “The Religious Foundations of the Islamic Resistance Movement,” the conference took place in the university’s main hall.

More than 50 research papers were presented, aiming to shed light on the jihadist journey of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, raise awareness among future generations about his religious mission, inspire the nation against occupation, empower youth in achieving security, and explore the religious and jihadist dimensions of the martyr.

The conference was structured around six main themes: philosophy, politics, history, preaching and propagation, language and literature, and Islamic jurisprudence, organized into five research sessions.

The event witnessed the presence of the University President and members of the University Council, the Head of the Higher Education Committee in the Provincial Council, Dr. Mohsen Al-Kinani, as well as representatives from the Martyrs Foundation in Karbala, the Popular Mobilization Forces, the two holy shrines, and a distinguished group of academics from various universities.
