Student from the College of Islamic Sciences Honored by University President for Winning Third Place in International Qur’an Competition

Graduate student Mohammed Takleef from the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala received a special honor from the University President, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, in recognition of his outstanding achievement in securing third place in the International Qur’an Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation Competition, organized by the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain.

The award ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Dr. Mohammed Aboud Al-Taie, and the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Muwafaq Kadhim Al-Hasnawi. During the event, the University President presented the student with the University Shield and a certificate of appreciation, commending his exceptional scholarly and spiritual achievement and his honorable representation of the University of Karbala on the international stage.

This accomplishment adds to the series of successes attained by the College of Islamic Sciences, reflecting its dedication to graduating academic and spiritual leaders equipped with sound knowledge in religious and human values.
