Qehtan Al-Tai, a postgraduate student at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, published a scholarly article on the official website of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein titled:
“The Role of Imam Zain al-Abidin (Peace Be Upon Him) in Continuing the Islamic Message: A Qur’anic Reading of His Stances and Words in the Face of Tyranny.”
The article presents a scholarly analysis supported by Qur’anic texts, highlighting the intellectual and missionary dimensions of Imam Zain al-Abidin’s (PBUH) stance following the tragedy of Karbala. It examines his pivotal role in preserving the essence of Islam and confronting political and religious deviation through purposeful Qur’anic discourse and principled resistance.
This achievement falls within the broader efforts of the College of Islamic Sciences to support academic research and engage with reputable intellectual and religious platforms that promote moderate Islamic thought rooted in the Holy Qur’an and the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (Peace Be Upon Them).
