
A number of professors from the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala took part in the discussion of a master’s thesis submitted by student Hikmat Ridha Hassan, titled:
“The Artistic Imagery in the Qur’an for the Denouncement of Sins – An Interpretive Study.”
The discussion was held at the conference hall of Sayyid al-Shuhada Complex – Al-Ma’arif College for Islamic Sciences.
The thesis examination committee consisted of:
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Layla Saadallah – Chair
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Ayat Abdul Wahab – Member
- Dr. Ibrahim Hussein Ibrahim – Member
- Dr. Mohsen Abdul Azim – Member and Supervisor
The discussion served as a rich academic platform, marked by deep analytical dialogue aimed at uncovering the meanings of the Qur’anic text and exploring its rhetorical and educational dimensions, thereby contributing to the deepening of Qur’anic awareness among researchers.
This academic participation reflects the ongoing commitment of the faculty at the College of Islamic Sciences to scholarly engagement and research collaboration with various universities and academic institutions across Iraq, in support of both scientific and Qur’anic advancement.
