Faculty Member from the College of Islamic Sciences Participates in Master’s Thesis Defense at Al-Kadhim University College of Islamic Sciences

Professor Dr. Nahida Jaleel Al-Ghali, a faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, took part in the defense of a Master’s thesis at Al-Kadhim University College of Islamic Sciences, Department of Sharia. The thesis, presented by graduate student Ghufran Jasim Jaafar, was entitled: “The Role of Reason in Deriving Islamic Legal Rulings: A Study in Imami and Shafi’i Jurisprudence.”

This participation adds to the college’s record of scholarly contributions and comes within the framework of strengthening academic collaboration among universities, as well as fostering the exchange of expertise in Islamic and jurisprudential studies.

The activity also reflects the college’s commitment to supporting scientific research, enhancing students’ research skills, and enriching jurisprudential discussions by focusing on intellectual approaches that bridge the Imami and Shafi’i schools of thought.
