Students Thamer Al-Fartousi and Abbas Fadel from the College of Islamic Sciences took part in the blessed Qur’anic gathering held in Al-Khalis City, as part of the “Manābir al-Nūr” (Pulpits of Light) series, hosted at Masjid and Husseiniya Alibat, with the attendance of a distinguished group of reciters and Qur’anic enthusiasts.
The event opened with a blessed recitation by Baqir Bayan, followed by an exceptional recitation by Mohammed Redha Al-Zubaidi, a reciter from the two holy shrines, then a soulful recitation by Ammar Al-Hilli, representing the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine. The gathering concluded with a traditional Iraqi-style recitation performed by the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine troupe, which added a unique spiritual atmosphere to the event.
This remarkable participation comes as part of the College of Islamic Sciences’ ongoing efforts to support its students and encourage them to engage actively in Qur’anic and cultural activities.
