Under the slogan “By Their Path We Rise… and By Their Light We Are Guided,” and in celebration of the birth of the Master of Creation, the most noble of all beings, Prophet Muhammad ibn Abdullah (peace be upon him and his family), and in commemoration of his grandson Imam Ja‘far ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), a delegation from the College of Islamic Sciences — consisting of several professors and PhD students — took part in the activities of the first annual “Al-Sadiq Al-Amin” Festival held in Babylon Governorate.
The event was organized under the patronage of Sheikh Mithaq Al-Abadi, the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, and attended by a distinguished group of scholarly, religious, and cultural figures.
The festival was initiated by the followers of the Supreme Religious Authority in the Kutha District to serve as a spiritual and cultural forum that strengthens the values of loyalty to the Prophet of Humanity and his family.
The participation of the College’s delegation reflects the ongoing interaction between academic institutions and community religious events, affirming the vital role of universities in supporting Islamic identity and reinforcing commitment to the authentic Muhammadan values.
