As part of its openness to cultural and community activities, the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala saw active participation from its faculty members and students in the Fadak Cultural Forum, held in Karbala with the presence of a distinguished group of intellectuals, academics, and those interested in religious and cultural affairs.
Representing the college were Dr. Mustafa and Assistant Lecturer Salam Al-Mousawi, who delivered intellectual and cultural lectures addressing contemporary issues from an Islamic perspective. Their contributions were met with strong engagement from the audience, alongside the participation of several students from the college, who enriched the discussions with questions and interventions.
This participation is part of the college’s ongoing efforts to support such initiatives, aiming to strengthen its cultural presence in society and encourage students to take part in intellectual activities that enhance their dialogue, research, and awareness-building skills.
Through these contributions, the college seeks to activate the university’s role in serving the community, linking academic work with cultural realities, and embedding religious and human values in the consciousness of students and the younger generation.
