
The President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, honored students from the College of Islamic Sciences who achieved top rankings in the International Al-Noor Quranic Competition, competing among participants representing 52 Iraqi universities.
Student Haider Tai’a Mashkoor won first place internationally, while his colleague Saif Shakir Kamel secured second place locally, marking an achievement that highlights the excellence of the college’s students and their dedication to Quranic culture.
The university president praised the students for their efforts and perseverance, emphasizing that their victory reflects the high academic and spiritual level of their college. The winners, in turn, expressed their gratitude for the university’s support and the contributions of the cultural units that helped make this success possible.
