Honoring two female students from the College of Islamic Sciences for achieving top positions in the 2025 Volunteer Work Conference

The two students Amal Hani Latif from the Department of Arabic Language and Esraa Ali Youssef from the Department of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education at the College of Islamic Sciences – University of Karbala, received special recognition from Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, President of the University, in appreciation of their distinguished efforts in volunteer work and active participation in the 2025 Volunteer Work Conference organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Baghdad.

During the ceremony, the University President praised “the efforts made by the honored students in building the university’s reputation and enhancing its academic and social standing,” emphasizing that “the University of Karbala continues to achieve ongoing success in various fields thanks to its exceptional youth talents.”

It is worth noting that the two students, Amal Hani Latif and Esraa Ali Youssef, were also honored earlier by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, in Baghdad, as part of the 2025 Volunteer Work Conference, in recognition of their dedication and active contributions to this noble humanitarian and academic field.
