The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Islamic Sciences Resumes Seminar Activities for Graduate Students

The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Islamic Sciences has resumed its academic seminar activities for graduate (Master’s) students, as part of the department’s plan to develop researchers’ skills in the fields of linguistic and semantic research.

During the seminar, Dr. Maytham Rasheed delivered a scientific lecture that addressed how to prepare semantic research and choose appropriate titles, as well as the methods for applying semantic terms across different research stages. He also explained how to present information in a precise academic manner that leads to sound methodological results.

Dr. Rasheed emphasized the importance of semantic analysis in modern linguistic studies, describing it as a key tool for understanding and interpreting texts in a scientific and systematic way. He urged students to be meticulous in selecting their research topics and formulating their titles to serve the goals of academic inquiry.

This activity comes as part of a series of regular seminars organized by the Department of Arabic Language, aimed at enhancing the academic research environment and supporting graduate students in developing their scientific and methodological competencies.
