Dr. Ibrahim Al-Ashtar, a faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences – University of Karbala, participated in a scientific seminar held upon the kind invitation of the Deanship of the College of Pharmacy – University of Karbala, as part of the intellectual and cultural activities hosted by the University of Karbala.

Dr. Al-Ashtar delivered a speech illuminated by the Almighty’s saying:
“And We have certainly presented for the people in this Qur’an every [kind of] example that they might remember,”

He explained the wisdom of the Qur’anic parable, noting that the Holy Qur’an does not present ideas in an abstract form but rather embodies them in a living model that transforms knowledge into practical behavior that positively impacts human life.

He pointed out that the university is not merely a place for receiving information, but a laboratory for building character and refining values, and that when values are transformed into firmly rooted professional conduct, they become a source of stability and security for society.

This participation comes within the framework of strengthening scientific and cultural cooperation among the university’s colleges and reinforcing the value-based dimension across various academic disciplines.
