The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Islamic Sciences – University of Karbala held a scientific seminar for graduate students (master’s and doctoral levels), dedicated to discussing research guidance and the mechanisms for preparing thesis and dissertation titles, aiming to enhance the students’ academic and research standards.

The seminar covered multiple topics, including scientific research methodologies, the latest critical approaches, methods of text analysis, as well as the academic documentation techniques used in writing university theses. The sessions also included extensive scientific discussions with the participation of a distinguished group of professors and researchers, who provided their observations and guidance to strengthen students’ research skills and develop their abilities in preparing rigorous scientific studies.

The seminar included presentations of research plan models for the proposed student topics, followed by discussion and evaluation, helping students select original subjects that meet academic standards and contribute to advancing scientific research in the field of Arabic language.
