
The talk show program “Khayr Jalees,” broadcast on Karbala Channel, hosted Assistant Professor Dr. Mawahib Al-Khatib from the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala to discuss her book titled “The Multiplicity of Readings in Understanding the Qur’anic Text.”
During the episode, Al-Khatib addressed the main contents of her book, highlighting the importance of multiple readings in enriching Qur’anic meaning and expanding the horizons of understanding. She affirmed that reading diversity represents a deep cognitive dimension that contributes to strengthening religious awareness and consolidating a sound understanding of the Qur’anic text.
She also explained that the book includes a set of scientific knowledge and methodological analyses that address the concept of multiplicity from both linguistic and interpretive perspectives, reviewing the most prominent challenges that researchers may face in this field and the mechanisms for dealing with them according to solid scientific foundations.
“Khayr Jalees” is considered one of the cultural talk programs that seeks to highlight intellectual and academic productions and to host scholarly figures in order to enrich the cultural and knowledge scene.
