The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala Organizes a Workshop on the Student Discipline Law: Rights and Duties

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hussein Al-Taee, the Career Development and Employment Unit organized a training workshop titled: “The Student Discipline Law: Rights and Duties.”

The workshop was presented by Lecturer Dr. Noor Aqeel Taher, who reviewed the main provisions of the Student Discipline Law, explaining the rights enjoyed by university students and the duties they must observe within the campus. The session aimed to instill a culture of respect and discipline and to balance the protection of students’ rights with the necessity of maintaining proper academic conduct.

The workshop witnessed active participation from students of the College of Islamic Sciences, who shared their questions and observations in a constructive and dialogical atmosphere aimed at enhancing legal awareness and moral responsibility among students, in support of the academic and educational mission of the university.
