
Professor Dr. Saeed Hameed Kazem, a faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, participated as a member of the examination committee for the master’s thesis of student Tahrir Kareem Hamza, titled “Cultural References in the Blessed Alawite Poem by Abdul-Masih Al-Antaki”, held at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Babylon.
The thesis explored the cultural and intellectual dimensions of the Alawite poem, analyzing its religious, literary, and historical symbols that reflect the depth of interaction between Islamic thought and modern Arabic literature.
Professor Dr. Saeed Hameed Kazem is considered one of the distinguished academic figures at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, with a rich record of scholarly and research achievements in the fields of literary and intellectual studies. He has made significant contributions through supervising, evaluating, and participating in master’s and doctoral discussions across several Iraqi universities.
This participation is part of the college’s ongoing academic engagement and its efforts to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise among Iraqi universities, contributing to the advancement of scientific research and the enrichment of graduate studies in the humanities and Islamic sciences.
