Under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Dhurgham Al-Musawi, and under the supervision of the Head of the Arabic Language Department in the college, Assistant Professor Dr. Safaa Hussein Latif, the Department of Arabic Language held a scientific dialogue seminar in which the poet and writer Bassem Furat hosted and was introduced by the lecturer in the department, Dr. Aad Kamel.

The symposium that was held in the hall of Imam Hussein (PBUH) in the college, in which the poet spoke about his literary journey in his poetic collections after he read a number of poems that sang the love of the country, the mother and the child.

The symposium was attended by a number of college teachers and postgraduate and primary studies students in the department.
At the end of the symposium, he was honored with a certificate of appreciation.
