The Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, Dr. Mohammed Hussein Aboud, represented the University President, Dr. Basim Al-Sa’idi, at the annual celebration commemorating the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

The event was organized by the Office of Sayyid Khomeini in Holy Karbala under the theme ‘The Triumph of the Islamic Revolution.’ During the event, the Dean delivered a speech highlighting the political and intellectual impacts of the blessed revolution led by Sayyid Khomeini in the 1980s, which resulted in the downfall of the despotic Shah of Iran.
