The Department of Qur’anic and Jurisprudential Studies Continues Organizing Seminar Sessions for Graduate Students to Enhance Their Research Skills

The Department of Qur’anic and Jurisprudential Studies at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, continues to hold weekly seminar sessions (seminars) for graduate students in both master’s and doctoral programs, twice a week. These sessions are part of the department’s ongoing efforts to develop students’ research skills and encourage creativity and critical thinking.

During these seminars, students present their academic topics as prospective research projects they intend to pursue in the next phases of their academic journey. They showcase their preliminary ideas and findings, which are then discussed by the department’s academic committee. The committee provides constructive feedback and recommendations aimed at improving the quality of the proposed research.

The academic committee commended the students’ efforts and emphasized the importance of these seminars in refining researchers’ skills and guiding them toward academic projects that contribute meaningfully to scientific progress and align with the standards of rigorous academic research.
