The College of Islamic Sciences Hosts a University Delegation to Review and Evaluate the Student Activities Division

The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala received a delegation from the University Presidency to review the operations of the Student Activities Division and evaluate its performance in artistic, sports, and cultural activities.

The delegation was welcomed by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mohammed Hussein Abboud Al-Ta’i, the Head of the Student Activities Division, Dr. Israa Al-Dahan, as well as the heads of the sports unit, Assistant Lecturer Taqi Hussein Fakher, and the scouting unit, Mr. Ahmed Karim.

This visit is part of the continuous follow-up by the University Presidency to assess the performance of student divisions and units in colleges, ensuring the implementation of annual activity plans that enhance student involvement in university life.

The visiting committee consisted of:

  • Assistant Lecturer Amjad Hameed Al-Yasari – Director of the Student Activities Department at the University Presidency
  • Assistant Lecturer Faleq Fathi – Head of the Artistic Division
  • Assistant Lecturer Ihsan Abdul Latif – Head of the Sports Division
  • Mr. Akram Waheed – Head of the Cultural Division
  • Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Hassan – Head of the Administrative Unit

The visit aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented programs, discuss the needs of various units, and explore ways to develop them to support student talents and enhance their abilities across different fields.

The Dean of the College praised the committee’s efforts in monitoring student activities, emphasizing the importance of ongoing cooperation between the University Presidency and colleges to strengthen the university environment and provide necessary support to students in all their activities.
